.taxi drivers.

i slept at almost 3a.m. last night and woke up at 7.30 today.was supposed to meet my group at 8a.m.so i'm pretty much late.decided to take a taxi then.


the first thing the taxi driver, a malay uncle, asked me was how much i usually pay a trip to school.told him i don't always take taxi to school.but gave him an estimate of about $7.


after a while,i sneaked a look at the meter.and.i didnt see a number.at all.the meter couldn't possibly be spoilt right?more to it,the taxi driver couldn't possibly have switched off or whathave you the meter which means that he's not charging me for the ride right?


for one,he looks like a new taxi driver.because he asked directions to my school.but then again,he could be a taxi driver for 10years and never had a passenger who wants to go ngee ann poly.


finally,when we've reached.he only asks $5 from me.
